We have a basic recipe for great spider repelling sprays! The most common essential oils used for repelling spiders are listed below along with instructions on how to make your own spray using one or more of the essential oils listed:

• Lemon oil
• Orange oil
• Tea tree oil
• Lavender oil
• Peppermint oil

5-10 Drops of any of the above essential oils, such as peppermint oil, or a combination of the oils
3-4 drops Dish Soap
16oz Water
Directions

Mix all the ingredients in a glass spray bottle and spray affected areas weekly until you no longer notice spider activity. Make sure to avoid eyes when spraying the affected area. We recommend using an amber colored spray bottle as essential oils should be stored in the dark to retain their potency.
