Peaceful Pup

Millions of dogs suffer from separation anxiety. Mine was one of them.

Meet Maggie (I call her “MagPie”), my adorable two-year-old chestnut Labradoodle. I got her from the humane society a few months ago. She’s the best thing that’s happened to me in quite some time. I couldn’t imagine life without her.

Or so I thought.

Soon after I got MagPie, my neighbor left a nasty note on my door, threatening to call animal control if I didn’t get my dog to calm down and stop her non-stop barking.

And if it hadn’t been for something called “Peaceful Pup” I don’t know what I would have done. Medication? No way, I didn’t want MagPie laying around all day in a daze.

Separation Anxiety Is More Common Than You May Think

But before I found out about Peaceful Pup, I responded to my neighbor’s letter by confronting her and saying, “MagPie needs to calm down? What are you talking about? She’s the sweetest dog ever.” I thought this was just another petty thing my neighbor was making up. She loves to complain about everything. (She once blamed me for stealing her newspapers.)

About a week after receiving my neighbor’s nasty letter (she had the audacity to suggest I take MagPie to the pound), I had to unexpectedly come home from work. I was stunned. From the parking lot of my condo, 100 yards away from the door, sure enough, I heard barking. It was incessant. And when I opened my front door, imagine my shock as I saw half my couch shredded to bits. The white stuffing material made it look like it was snowing.

A quick scan around the rest of the living room led to another horror: poop. A big pile of it soiling an expensive Oriental rug my parents had brought back from a trip to Turkey.

I don’t know what shocked me more … that my neighbor had a legitimate gripe about something for once or that MagPie was clearly suffering from separation anxiety. I wondered, where did I go wrong? Have I been a horrible mother in raising MagPie? If MagPie were my child (and she pretty much is!) would Child Protective Services take her away? I became desperate and started researching all I could find on anxiety in dogs. It was a miracle I came across Peaceful Pup….

Peaceful Pup: No Medication, All Natural

I can still vividly remember the first day of school and the terrible separation anxiety I felt when my mom drove away, leaving me to fend for myself in kindergarten. If that’s how MagPie felt, I feel terrible I left her alone. But I have a demanding full-time job. Lots of people leave their dogs for the day while they go to work. Their dogs are perfectly calm during the day, or so I thought.

I was getting desperate to help MagPie. Her separation anxiety wasn’t getting any better. There were a few other hair-raising, carpet-staining incidents. I just didn’t know what to do.

I’m so lucky I discovered Peaceful Pup. The product is so simple. But it’s really genius if you think about it. You see, while people don’t bark and poop all over the place from separation anxiety, people like me do suffer from separation from their dogs. And you know what helps soothe and calm both people and dogs—without causing addiction or side effects?

Mother Nature.

Specifically, the oils from these 7 plants:

  • Lavender
  • Chamomile
  • Geranium
  • Frankincense
  • Cypress
  • Lemon
  • Almond

Uniquely Formulated to Soothe And Calm Your Dog’s Nerves — 100% Safe

When I researched separation anxiety solutions, all I could find at first was ads for medication. Considering that dogs have more sensitive systems than humans, and how frequently side effects from drugs occur, I wasn’t comfortable with medicating MagPie. And I certainly didn’t want to pay the steep out of pocket expense ($100 for just 30 pills!)

In comparison to pharmaceuticals, Peaceful Pup costs pennies on the dollar and there’s no risk of negative side effects. And all it contains is 7 plants. Nothing else is added.

How Does Peaceful Pup Work?

Before I purchased Peaceful Pup, I really wondered (and prayed) if it would work. Let me just say that the results have been nothing short of a miracle. These days, I can leave MagPie alone with no problems–even if I put in some overtime. (On those days, I’ll race home to let her out to go potty). And when I come home, she’s totally calm. It’s as if she’s helped herself to a couple glasses of Merlot and binge-watched her favorite show.

So what’s so special about these plants? Well, for thousands of years, they’ve been used all over the world to help people calm down. And now, research studies confirm their therapeutic use.

Let’s start with lavender. For anybody who has ever traveled on a plane with their dog, you know how stressful that can be to the pooch. But during one study, lavender helped dogs spend significantly more time resting and sitting, and less time moving and vocalizing during the travel experiment.

Chamomile has been used for centuries to help people relax and calm the nervous system. A 2017 study concludes it can significantly induce relaxation.  Frankincense, one of the most prized plant oils for millennia, has a renown positive effect on emotional well-being. If your dog displays aggressive behavior, it will help to calm your canine down.

Geranium has been shown by research to possess natural antidepressant, sedative, and muscle-relaxing properties. It also helps ease breathing. Both lemon and cypress oil has been found in preliminary studies in animals to have sedative and anxiety-reducing properties. Finally, almond oil is a carrier oil that makes it possible to blend this one of a kind calming remedy for dogs.

I use Peaceful Pup for my dog who whines and cries every time we are in the truck. This really works great. I just have to remember to apply the roll-on about 15-30 minutes before we get in the truck. It seems to last a long time because when I picked my dog up about 5-6 hours later he was still calm on the ride home. Im going to buy more now

My adopted pit can’t stand loud noises, and gets so scared she shakes and wants to hide. I diffused Peaceful Pup on the 4th of July fireworks and was surprised how well it calmed her down. I love the scent too! We can’t wait to try the roll-on. I’m going to order extra to keep at our cabin for thunder storms. Thank you 🙂
